Mónica Lima (b. Lisbon) is a writer-director, who has also been working as assistant director for directors like Filipa César and Salomé Lamas. She lives in between Lisbon and Berlin where she is finishing her studies in Directing at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). Her short films have been shown in various international film festivals and distinguished with special mentions, such as at IndieLisboa and Achtung Berlin. She is now preparing her first feature film.
