Inês Teles (Évora, 1986) lives and works in Lisbon. She owns a Painting Degree at FBAUL, PG-Dip. in Fine Art at Byam Shaw School of Arts, CSM and a MA in Painting at Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, with a Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation’ Scholarship.

Teles has participated in several shows: (2018) Vindauga-olho de vento, curated by Hugo Dinis, Sala 117, Porto, PT; Variations portugaises, Centre d’art de Meymac, curated by Caroline Bissière and Jean-Paul Blanchet, FR; (2017) Múltiplos, The Drawing Center, New York, USA; (2015) Descontorno, curated by João Pinharanda, Casa de Burgos, Évora, PT;
In 2018 she was included in the 11th Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso Award, in the “JCE 2017-19” and in the public art circuit 10.10.10 – Art between Cities, curated by Gabriela Raposo, Alenquer. In 2019 the artist was selected for The International Award FMJJ 2019, Coruna, ES and got public support -Apoio a Projetos – Criação -from the Direção-Geral das Artes for the intervention Walk the curve, a project co-authored with Ayelen Peressini.

Inês Teles has her work in several private collections in Portugal, France, UK, Spain, Chile and USA; Oliva Creative Factory Collection, São João da Madeira, PT; National Gallery of Budapest, HU; Carris Museum Collection, PT; Fernando Ribeiro Collection, PT; Joaquim Ferro Collection, PT.
