Susanne Themlitz (Lisbon, 1968) lives and works in Cologne, Germany.
Drawing occupies a special place in her unusual artistic universe. For this exhibition, the artist revisits 20 years of work, creating an intervention where she incorporates works designed specifically for Casa da Cerca with others that already exist.
Themlitz will also design a site-specific installation that evokes and celebrates O Chão das Artes – Jardim Botânico.

Simultaneously with the exhibition on the Main Gallery, in the Reading Room, some of the artist’s books by Susanne Themlitz are presented, who since 1994 has maintained a continuous and very rich production, which will be presented here, as a whole, for the first time.
