Maria Azevedo Coutinho is an experienced ethnographer and designer. She has conducted ethnographic research and user centered design projects for a variety of organizations. Her portfolio includes ethnography, product & graphic design, strategy, design research and design thinking training, in Portugal, France, Italy, USA and Guinea-Bissau for clients in these countries and Australia, Spain and Poland.
Maria is a graduate industrial designer (IADE – Portugal, 2004) with a post-graduate research degree from the Bauhaus Kolleg VIII (Bauhaus Dessau Foundation – Germany, 2007) and a Master degree in Social Cultural Anthropology from ISCTE (Lisbon, Portugal, 2016). She speaks French, English, Italian and Portuguese.
