Daniela Viçoso (b. Faro, 1990), graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon with a Painting major (2012), later with an Illustration MA graduate degree at Kingston University, London (2015). The short story “Erasmus song” is awarded one of the bronze awards at the 13th edition of the Japan International Manga Award (2020).
Her projects range from visual arts, self publication, painting, comics, workshops and other programs (such as ComEdu). Her personal work explores themes such as popular and everyday imagery/objects, melancholia and the ‘boy’s love’ manga genre.
